IBNG, YEG & WEG Unite to Boost Engineering Geology and for ARC-15 at Jahangirnagar University

A Successful meeting at Jahangirnagar University brought together IBNG, YEG and WEG members to discuss advancing engineering geology in Bangladesh. Hosted by IBNG President Prof. Dr. ATM Shakhawat Hoossain and colleagues, the visit featured a lecture on Kathmandu Valley sediments, the benefits of IAEG membership and the call to launch an MSc in Engineering Geology. The upcoming ARC-15 in Kathmandu (Nov 27-29 2025) was also highlighted with an open invitation to all to join this regional milestone.
